As workers rally at the Capitol for a raise in Pennsylvania’s minimum wage, Governor Wolf reiterated his support for giving worker’s wages an overdue boost
Governor Wolf announced that nearly $1.3 million has been made available to 13 institutions and organizations across the commonwealth, including Penn State University, Rodale Institute, the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine, Temple University, and others to conduct research on important issues affecting the future vitality of the state’s agriculture industry.
Governor Wolf has ordered the Commonwealth flag at the Capitol Complex and at all Commonwealth facilities in the counties of Lehigh and Berks to fly at half-staff to honor fallen firefighter Erik Hirner.
Governor Wolf was joined by Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Secretary Leslie S. Richards to discuss the details of Resurface PA, the administration’s new statewide initiative to accelerate repaving work on interstates and attack potholes across Pennsylvania.
