Governor Wolf Signs Five Bills Into Law

Harrisburg, PA – Governor Tom Wolf today signed five bills into law. The following pieces of legislation are now law:

Act 42 — House Bill 33 sponsored by Rep. Grell amends the PA Municipalities Planning Code, in planning agencies, further providing for appointment, term and vacancy of planning commission members and for conduct of business of planning commission.

Act 43 — House Bill 75 sponsored by Rep. Kauffman amends the Pharmacy Act providing for nonresident pharmacies.

Act 44 — House Bill 315 sponsored by Rep. Ellis amends the Child Labor Act further providing for definitions and for occupations and establishments.

Act 45 — Senate Bill 513 sponsored by Sen. McGarrigle amends the Solid Waste Management Act, in residual waste, further providing for transportation of residual waste; and abrogating a regulation.

Act 46 — Senate Bill 897 sponsored by Sen. Rafferty is an act authorizing the Department of Transportation to grant and convey to Center Square Commons, L.P., certain lands situate in the Township of Whitpain, Montgomery County.
