This week, Governor Wolf visited Simon Arias Agencies in Wilkes-Barre and Parkway Caribbean Restaurant in Allentown to continue his call for Pennsylvania legislators to raise the minimum wage statewide. The increase would benefit more than 1.2 million Pennsylvania workers, many of whom are adults with families.

The governor also made stops in Johnstown, Bellefonte, and Lancaster to discuss his “Government that Works” Reform Plan. The Governor’s five point plan includes instituting a statewide gift ban, disclosure of compensation received by public employees, contracting reform, increased lobbying oversight, and campaign finance reform. Finally, Governor Wolf also called on the legislature once again to pass non-discrimination legislation in light of the anti-LGBT law passed in North Carolina.
