Governor Wolf Orders the Commonwealth Flag at Half-Staff in Warren County to Honor K9 Officer Choper

Harrisburg, PA – Governor Tom Wolf has ordered the Commonwealth flag in Warren County to fly at half-staff to honor K9 Officer Choper.
K9 Officer Choper of the Conewango Township Police Department passed away in the line of duty on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
“K9 Choper spent the past three years working long hours in dangerous situations to protect the citizens of Warren,” said Governor Wolf. “K9 officers are a vital part of the law enforcement community and K9 Choper will be greatly missed. His bravery and contributions to the Conewango Township Police Department are unmatched and his service to the commonwealth is irreplaceable.”
The Commonwealth flag shall be lowered sunrise, Thursday, June 7, 2018, through sunset Thursday, June 7, 2018. All Pennsylvanians are invited to participate in this tribute.
The United States flag shall remain at full staff during this tribute.
