Governor Wolf Orders Commonwealth Flags at Half-Staff to Honor Volunteer Firefighter Parker Hess

Harrisburg, PA – Governor Tom Wolf has ordered all commonwealth flags on the Capitol Complex and at all commonwealth facilities in Fayette County to remain flying at half-staff to honor fallen volunteer firefighter Parker Hess.

Parker Hess, a 16 year old Junior Firefighter at the Republic Volunteer Fire Company in Republic, Pennsylvania, died on Sunday, November 27, 2016, while performing duties at the fire company.

Flags shall remain lowered at half-staff until sunset on Sunday, December 11, 2016.

All Pennsylvanians are invited to participate in this tribute.
