Governor Wolf Orders Commonwealth Flags at Half-Staff to Honor Retired Justice Nicholas P. Papadakos

Harrisburg, PA – Governor Tom Wolf has ordered commonwealth flags to fly at half-staff on the Capitol Complex and throughout the commonwealth to honor Retired Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Nicholas P. Papadakos.
Justice Papadakos, 92, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017. He retired from the Supreme Court in 1995 after serving 11 years. Before that, he was an Allegheny County judge for eight years.
The Commonwealth Flag shall remain at half-staff until sunset on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. The United States Flag should remain at full-staff during this tribute.
