Governor Wolf Signs Seven Bills into Law

Harrisburg, PA – Governor Tom Wolf signed the following seven bills into law:

  • Act 79 – Senate Bill 398, sponsored by Sen. White, which amends Title 20 (Decedents, Estates & Fiduciaries), in express anatomical gifts, further providing for use of driver’s license or identification card to indicate organ or tissue donation.
  • Act 81 – Senate Bill 756, sponsored by Sen. Schwank, which amends Title 64 (Public Authorities & Quasi-Public Corporations), in Commonwealth Financing Authority, further providing for First Industries Program expiration provision.
  • Act 82 – Senate Bill 1045, sponsored by Sen. Vulakovich, which amends Title 51 (Military Affairs), in general provisions, providing for character of discharge.
  • Act 83 – Senate Bill 1046, sponsored by Sen. Vulakovich, which amends Title 51 (Military Affairs), in Pennsylvania National Guard, further providing for retired Pennsylvania National Guard personnel.
  • Act 80 – Senate Bill 524, sponsored by Sen. Scarnati, which amends Title 61 (Prisons and Parole) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, establishing the Non-narcotic Medication Assisted Substance Abuse Treatment Grant Pilot Program; et al.
  • Act 77 – House Bill 909, sponsored by Rep. Ross, which amends the Real Estate Tax Sale Law, in sale of property, providing for additional costs for rehabilitation and maintenance.
  • Act 78 – House Bill 1161, sponsored by Rep. Harhart, which amends Board of Vehicles Act further providing for definitions and for license to engage in business.
