This week, Governor Wolf continued the fight against the opioid abuse epidemic in Pennsylvania. Governor Wolf, along with Department of Human Services Secretary Ted Dallas, visited four of Centers of Excellence and discussed the significant investments made in the 2016-17 budget to combat the opioid abuse epidemic across the state. Governor Wolf and Secretary Dallas visited Gateway Rehabilitation Center in Allegheny County, Esper Treatment Center in Erie, Penn Foundation in Bucks County, and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

On Wednesday, Governor Wolf continued his Jobs That Pay tour by visiting the new office of in Lancaster. is an online reputation management company specializing in creating, monitoring, improving, and protecting an individual’s online presence. The governor made another Jobs That Pay stop on Friday while visiting the new site for FedEx Ground’s Lehigh Valley distribution hub.

Other highlights from this week include milestones reached by Governor Wolf’s GO-TIME initiative. On Tuesday, the governor announced that GO-TIME has saved the Commonwealth $156 million in the 2015-16 Fiscal Year.

On Thursday, the governor announced the continued success of Online Voter Registration, which marked the milestone of having 250,000 Pennsylvanians registered to vote in less than a year.
