Pennsylvania Gov. Wolf, Minnesota Gov. Dayton Make Sweet Bet on Vikings-Eagles Game

January 19, 2018

Harrisburg, PA – Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf and Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton today announced a friendly wager over this weekend’s NFC Championship Game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles. Governor Dayton has wagered a five-pound Pearson’s Salted Nut Roll if the Eagles win and Governor Wolf has offered five pounds of Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets if the Vikings win.

“Our Philadelphia Eagles have overcome adversity and displayed true Pennsylvania grit to put themselves one game away from the Super Bowl,” Governor Wolf said. “While I wanted an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl, I am proud of the Eagles and look forward to cheering them on this weekend. Go Birds!”

Governor Wolf also today announced that the State Capitol Building in Harrisburg will be lit green starting tonight and through the game Sunday in a show of support for the Eagles.
