Weekly Update: Calling for Bipartisan Health Care Reform, Investing in Water Infrastructure, Announcing New Manufacturing Jobs

Governor Wolf is continuing to fight for health care coverage for Pennsylvanians. On Tuesday, in response to recent developments on the Senate health care bill, Governor Wolf released a statement joining 10 bipartisan governor’s calling on D.C. to fix insurance markets to provide better insurance for all Americans.
On Wednesday, Governor Wolf announced investments for 23 water infrastructure projects across 20 counties through the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST).
Expanding manufacturing and job creation in Pennsylvania is a priority for Governor Wolf. This week, Governor Wolf announced that The New York Blower Company will be expanding its manufacturing facility and creating new manufacturing jobs in Lawrence County.
