Gov. Wolf to Sign Bills to Protect Victims of Child Sexual Abuse
Governor Tom Wolf will sign legislation that abolishes Pennsylvania’s statute of limitations on childhood sexual abuse. He will be joined by Attorney General Josh Shapiro and legislators. The package of bills also includes extending the timeline victims have to file civil action against their abusers, increase penalties for failure to report child abuse by a mandated reporter, and make conversations with law enforcement agents exempt from non-disclosure agreements.
