Governor and First Lady Wolf Host Planned Parenthood Panel Discussion and Community Forum
Governor Tom Wolf and First Lady Frances Wolf will be in Blue Bell to host a panel discussion and community forum on the importance of Planned Parenthood.
Governor and First Lady Wolf were Planned Parenthood volunteers and continue to support women’s health care rights and access. In Pennsylvania, nearly 50 percent of Planned Parenthood’s health centers are in medically under-served areas. Last year, Planned Parenthood served about 90,000 patients in Pennsylvania and provided nearly 170,000 screenings for sexually transmitted diseases, over 9,000 cervical cancer screenings and 11,000 breast wellness exams.
