Governor Wolf Hosts Discussion on Fighting the Opioid Epidemic

Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine – Center for Substance Abuse Research, Medical Education and Research Building, 3500 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA

Governor Wolf will host a roundtable discussion at Temple University on how best to continue the fight against the opioid epidemic in Pennsylvania. The discussion will be held at the Center for Substance Abuse Research, which was selected as substance use disorder treatment Center of Excellence.

The Center for Substance Abuse Research’s mission is to study and understand the biological basis of drug addiction. The center’s research encompasses many classes of addictive drugs and substances, including opioids.
