Governor Wolf Signs PA CHIP Legislation, Urges Congress to Reauthorize CHIP Program

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Colket Atrium - Main Hospital, 3401 Civic Center Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA

Governor Wolf will be joined by Human Services Acting Secretary Teresa Miller at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to sign legislation passed by the General Assembly to reauthorize Pennsylvania’s Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

While the PA General Assembly voted to reauthorize CHIP in the Commonwealth, Governor Wolf continues to urge the United States Congress to do their part in ensuring continued funding for CHIP. Federal funding covers approximately 90 percent of the cost of Pennsylvania’s CHIP program.
