Exhibitors and visitors from all corners of the Mid-Atlantic arrived to Pennsylvania’s capital city in early January to experience the largest indoor agricultural event in the United States, the Pennsylvania Farm Show, for its centennial celebration. And what a celebration it was!

Harrisburg, PA – Governor Tom Wolf, presiding over a cavalcade of bands, livestock, farm equipment, agriculture royalty, and volunteers at the opening ceremony of Pennsylvania’s 100th Farm Show today touted the state agriculture industry’s ability to meet food demands and to strengthen Pennsylvania’s economy.
The 100th Pennsylvania Farm Show runs January 9-16, and this year’s centennial events are definitely worth the trip. Luckily, there are many ways to get there.
This year at the Centennial Pennsylvania Farm Show, the Pennsylvania Department of Health will be continuing our “Stopping the Flu Starts with YOU” Campaign by offering free influenza vaccines.
