The Department of Corrections has reduced medical costs for inmates by $14.5 million over the past two years – while maintaining or improving care – by leveraging federal and state programs and innovative partnerships, according to the Governor’s Office of Transformation, Innovation, Management and Efficiency (GO-TIME).

A new eGrants system is now available for eligible arts organizations to submit grant applications to the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA), which is working to make all grant programs available electronically by June 2018, saving an estimated $160,000 this fiscal year and shortening processing times by 50 percent.

Governor Wolf announced that more than 500 life insurance policies paying more than $2.6 million in benefits and annuities to Pennsylvanians have been found in the year since the Insurance Department implemented the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ (NAIC) Life Insurance Policy Locator.
