Governor Wolf announced the Pennsylvania Department of Health has approved the state’s first medical marijuana dispensary authorized to begin serving patients.
Governor Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Health announced that 10,135 patients have registered to participate in the medical marijuana program, with 1,188 certified by a physician to participate.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health announced GTI Pennsylvania, LLC, Montour County, and Pennsylvania Medical Solutions, LLC, Lackawanna County, have been approved to begin growing and processing medical marijuana at their facilities.
The Wolf Administration’s Pennsylvania Department of Health approved Ilera Healthcare LLC., in Taylor Township, Fulton County to grow and process medical marijuana, becoming the third facility to be operational.
Governor Wolf announced that more than 6,000 patients and more than 300 caregivers have registered for Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana program since the Medical Marijuana Patient and Caregiver Registry launched November 1.
