The Maternal Mortality Review Committee held its inaugural meeting at the Pennsylvania Department of Health yesterday to begin work on finding ways to decrease maternal deaths across Pennsylvania.

Governor Wolf announced a tribute at the Pennsylvania State Capitol building in Harrisburg for the 11 congregants killed in the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh.
Governor Wolf has ordered all commonwealth flags on the Capitol Complex, at commonwealth facilities, and throughout the state lowered to half-staff, effective immediately, in honor of all victims of the attack at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.
