On Thursday, March 1, Governor Wolf continued his fight against the opioid epidemic, when he announced an initiative to remove barriers for people receiving medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder.

Last week, Governor Wolf joined governors to lay out a bipartisan plan to improve our nation’s health care, announced that more than 1,300 medical marijuana patients have received medication from a dispensary, and signed a bill to ensure that convicted sexual offenders remain subject to registration requirements.
